This video is created to honor all the beautiful and brave women worldwide who have chosen to go against Eurocentric beauty standards and embrace their natural beauty with no shame or apologies. It is no doubt that women internationally feel the need to conform to beauty standards of their culture or, in this increasingly Westernized world, the Western culture to be accepted and feel beautiful. This movement is created to go against all of those biased expectations. To help women know that they are not alone in their fight to feel confident with their physical appearances. This video showcases women around the world from different cultures who have made a choice to wear their natural hair, loud and proud for all to see. Wherever you're from, wherever you may live, don't let anyone stop you from embracing your natural self.
